Medefer’s Advice & Guidance service is a joint project offered by Medefer and Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
with the following specialties commissioned through the Medefer platform:

Sometimes Doctor may determine that patients will benefit from a review by a specialist consultant. Until recently, this meant referring patients to hospital outpatient clinics, where they may wait several weeks for an appointment.

Using Medefer, Doctors can now request an NHS Consultant to first review records and provide advice, organise investigations, or refer on to hospital. The service is fast and Doctors will normally receive the consultant advice within one working day.
