This is a scoping exercise to compare functionality within Docman compared with EMIS Scanning following several complaints about the lack of support from PCTI and continued problems with updates, Docman being down.
The purpose is for the CCG to make an informed decision whether to remain with Docman or move to EMIS scanning. There are further investment costs to upgrade further to Docman 10. In addition, Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Trust (MCHT) have invested heavily in a Docman Vault.
