Lexacom cloud is a cloud based digital dictation service that allows several practices to be contained within one database. It integrates with the clinical system to pull the patient details through saving time for the GP. Following this we are looking to offer transcription service to other practices who may be struggling with secretarial support. Several practices have expressed an interest in sharing services in this way. We have two practices set up as a trial to share secretarial support, however this hasn’t been required yet.
Project Funding
South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP Alliance have funded the actual dictation service with practices funding ongoing costs.

Practices in the Project
Just over half of the GP Practices within South Cheshire and Vale Royal are using this system. We are continuing to sign practices up for further use.
