Voice Recognition Dictation Service (Lexacom Echo)

Lexacom Echo is a piece of software being trialled which allows GPs to dictate a typed letter through voice recognition, saving time for the secretaries/administrative staff. This initially requires additional input from both the GP and secretary but has proved very successful. This is being offered to other GP practices and extended within Ashfields Surgery, Sandbach, the initial pilot site.
