Mike left the NHS in 2012 after a 34 year career. For the last 17 years of those Mike was a NHS Chief Executive, undertaking this role in both a NHS Trust in Wolverhampton and for a large Primary Care Trust in Cheshire. Throughout his career Mike has always undertaken regional and national work particularly in his areas of interest which include, Social Value, Primary Care Development and Organisational Effectiveness
Mike was a policy Board Member for NHS Employers for 6 years, a Board Member of the NHS Equality and Diversity Council for 3 years, and the President of the Healthcare People Management Association.
